Fantastic Mr. Fox - 2JJ

2JJ have been enjoying their class read of ‘Fantastic Mr Fox!’

This fantastic tale is about a clever, brave fox who lives underground beside a tree with his wife and four children. To feed his family, he makes nightly visits to local farms owned by three cruel, wicked farmers named Boggis, Bunce and Bean, whereupon he seizes the livestock available on each man's farm; chickens from Boggis, ducks or geese from Bunce, and turkeys from Bean. Tired of being outsmarted by Mr Fox, the naughty, smelly trio devise a plan to ambush him as he leaves his burrow, but the question is... do they succeed?

Eilaf said “I love this story and I can’t wait to find out if the sneaky farmers manage to capture Mr Fox and his family.”

Stephen said “ The farmers are really cheeky, I can’t believe they shot off Mr Fox’s tail!”

Masantu said “ I loved it when the farmers were right on the foxes tail. It made me feel nervous for the foxes but excited for the farmers”

2JJ can’t wait to keep reading the book and find out if Mr Fox and his family get away safely.
