As part of Empathy Week, Years 5 and 6 had the amazing opportunity to attend a Zoom with Sue Pickford Cheung. She is a multi-award-winning author and illustrator of books for young people of all ages, producing the incredibly successful books Chinglish, the Maddie Yip series and many more. They had lots of fun during the session, which included a cartoon draw-along teaching expressions and characters, showing how anybody can be an artist as the simplest lines can get an idea across.
